Credit Reports & CCJ Searches
Protect your assets by knowing your potential client's net worth before providing credit where it may be at risk. By analysing Annual Returns and accounts, you have the competitive edge on the opposition prior to making a financial commitment.
With forty years experience of providing reports, we are regarded locally as the major source of registered information for many clients in a variety of different industries.
Searches & Status Reports
Whether it is a private individual, sole trader, partnership, limited liability or public company, we can search on any UK registered business or private address and report our findings by return, often within minutes of an enquiry. Company searches obtained from our data providers are generally forwarded within one hour by fax or letter post. Express searches are guaranteed same day. All reports can include details of any County Court Judgments (CCJs) for a nominal additional fee. The speed at which reports are required will always dictate the fee to be paid, the more urgent the requirement, the more it costs to produce. We do not send search results by E-mail, but will provide a general synopsis by telephone if required. Protecting your company assets by searching your prospective client’s credit history prior to the commencement of trading reflects an effective credit control policy.
CCJ Searches
Payment defaulters, following Court action, attract "County Court Judgements" (CCJs) (in Scotland these are known as "Decrees"). A search of the register of CCJs can be made via our computer systems during all working hours, and this information relayed to credit account holding clients within minutes of the enquiry.
Please remember, it is the address that is searched not the individual in whom you are interested. CCJs attach firstly to the address, from returned data you are able to establish the name of the defaulter, the Court in which the judgement was registered, the judgement date and the amount of the judgement. Some judgement searches are returned negative (no judgements), the fee for a negative return is the same as a positive return, the same procedure having been followed.
